Welcome to the new web presence of Operation WWII Remembered, Inc. (OWW2R).
We recently lost our website when the company donating the server space and maintenance was sold and the new owners declined to continue hosting us. Sadly, no one informed us and it was some time before we discovered our site was gone. I then had to research our options before I ended up choosing WordPress.
The combination of free service, ease of use, simplicity of design, and 100% control of access and maintenance sold me on using a blogging platform as the best option to meet our simple needs. Comparisons of the several blogging services led me to WordPress. It is my sincere hope that this truly is the best possible way for us to maintain a presence on the web that is both easy to navigate for our longtime subscribers and clear and informative for our prospective subscribers.
